Ever since I was a little girl, I always knew I wanted to be in the helping profession. Through each journey in my life, I found my little niche of doing just that. After graduating from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Criminal Justice, I worked for Senator Thomas serving the people of Wyoming. I then headed off to the Kindgom of Tonga to serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer where I ended up receiving as much as I was able to give. I spent over ten years working with victims of crime assisting them through the post-conviction process. Advocating and supporting victims through difficult times was incredibly humbling and often inspiring through their stories of resilience and strength.
I graduated with my Masters of Social Work from the University of North Dakota, and now have the privilege of being a Clinical Therapist continuing my life’s journey of helping others through their life struggles. My specialty areas include working with victims in a therapeutic setting assisting them through the process of victim – survivor – thriver. I also enjoy working with individuals battling issues including trauma, attachment disruptions, anxiety, relationship and family distress, and self-esteem. I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, couples and families. Using attachment and strengths-based perspectives allows me to help people along their journey of becoming healthier and happier.
I am married and have four wonderful children who keep me incredibly busy. When we are not watching or playing sports, you can find us in a friendly competition of some sort to keep things entertaining and interesting. We find our strength from God and each other, and I hope to help uncover your strengths to get you through whatever you are struggling with today.
