I was born and raised in Colorado and chose to move to Wyoming and make this my forever home 25 years ago. I am happily married and have two adult children that I thoroughly enjoy spending time with.
In 1995, I received my Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Wyoming. Since that time, I have continued to learn and grow and am in the process of earning my Social Work Certification. My background involves a lot of community organization, youth prevention, leadership and group work. I have worked for the State investigating abuse allegations and wrote home studies for an adoption agency. I have been certified to train in several Best Practice Programs for youth and families. In addition, I hold certifications in Substance Abuse Prevention, Motivation Interviewing in SBIRT, Forensic Interviewing, and Crisis Hotline for Project Safe and Suicide Prevention.
When I am not working, I enjoy photography, working in my yard, loving on my animals, getting out of town on road trips and spending time with my family.
