Hi all! My name is Anna Aretos (She/Her/They/Them) and I am a recent graduate from Colorado State’s Master’s of Social Work Program. I’ll be working as a provisional therapist in the Loveland office. I’m originally from Chicago, Illinois and moved out to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2018 to get my Bachelor’s of Social Work and I’ve loved it ever since! I started my social work career working at a non-profit, child and family trauma center and as a paraprofessional for Poudre School District’s SED program. I always want to approach my practice with clients with compassion, empathy, and cultural competency.
To decompress I love to hike, camp, make lots of art, crochet, and spend time with the people I love. My passion is working with LGBTQ+ adolescents and adults as well as people who experience anxiety, depression, and have a history of trauma. I’m so excited to start my professional career as a therapist at SCC and move towards getting my LCSW to help those who need someone in their corner.
